Lissataba boasts three well-appointed bungalows in the traditional rondawel-style with a central communal kitchen and outdoor fire pit/braai facility. These are situated proximal to the main clubhouse where all the necessary facilities are located, including a small shop selling basic necessities, fuel (petrol and diesel) and a swimming pool.
Lissataba is very well situated as an overnight stopover for owners and their guests headed for the northern areas of the world famous Kruger National Park. The drive from Johannesburg or Tshwane to northern Kruger is quite long, meaning that if one leaves in the afternoon one may not make the gate closing deadline. But at Lissataba late arrivals are allowed, meaning one could stay overnight, leaving only a short journey in the morning to reach the Kruger entrance gate, be it Orpen, Phalaborwa or Punda Maria. This facility is currently only available to current owners and their guests.
However, through agents in the area, potential owners of sites are also able to use the overnight accommodation when they come down to view the property they are interested in. This way they get a feeling for the beauty of Lissataba and the friendliness and efficiency of the reserve staff.
